JASON PRIESTLEY BOARDS THE LOVE BOAT: Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jason Priestley has
tied the knot. According to USA Today, Priestley and his bride, makeup artist Ashlee
Peterson, were wed on Feb. 2 aboard a boat in Miami, with the captain doing the honors.

Looks like eternal high-schooler Brandon Walsh is all growed up. Beverly High alum Jason
Priestley, 29, has tied the knot with gal-pal Ashlee Peterson, a 29-year-old makeup
artist. The couple did the deed February 2 on a boat in Miami, with the ship's captain
officiating, according to USA Today. No word on who attended the ceremony. The nuptials
come after a year and a half of dating. Priestley, whose Beverly Hills, 90210 alterego
once left Kellie Taylor (Jennie Garth) at the altar, has never been hitched, although he
spent several years cohabitating with onetime costar Christine Elise.
It's the first marriage for Peterson, too, but she does have a 5-year-old son from a
previous
relationship. Priestley's good guy Brandon Walsh was a 90210 fixture for more than eight
seasons, finally leaving last September to pursue other acting and directing gigs. He
recently costarred in Love and Death on Long Island and directed a Barenaked Ladies video.
Of course, if those endeavors don't turn out (see: Luke Perry), Priestley can always head
back to Beverly--Fox announced Tuesday that it's picking up the prime-time soap for a 10th
season. The move is a surprise, considering creator Aaron Spelling said last year that
he'd probably pull the plug on 90210 after this season, in part because Priestley and
other key characters were leaving--not to mention the remaining cast is rapidly
approaching middle age. (At least Tori will be gainfully employed, though.) |
